A little something to help you out...

 

The following are some of the frequently asked questions about Wedding Photography, in general, and how we work here at Wade Photography.  I've tried to keep these brief and to the point, so please give me a call or email if you need more detail.

Do I get my negatives?  What about the Copyright?

 

Yes you do!  Unlike many photographers, Wade Photography will provide you with hi-res copies of all your images (on DVD) and also provide you with a Copyright Release so that you can do with your images as you see fit.  You won't have to come back to us for permission to make prints, or pay exhorbitant fees for any products.  They're your photos.  

 

AND, your gallery will give you the ability to order prints AT COST, so it'll probably be the least expensive way to get professional, studio-quality enlargements.  But you are under no obligation to do so.  You can take them anywhere you choose, or print them yourself if you want to do so.  

 

Most brides, though, really dig the fact that they can do so much more electronically - the possibilities are endless!

Do I have to sign a contract?

 

We believe in signing a simple contract to help in protecting both parties.  We will show you the contract up front and answer any questions you might have.  It's pretty simple and there's no fine print.  It just spells out our responsibilities so that we can be sure we meet your expectations.

What is your style?  What do you specialize in?

 

Wade & Josh are both storytellers at heart.  We love to capture those moments that help you narrate your special day. Our interest in capturing life "as it happens" is combined with a unique aptitude for storytelling, technical skill, creativity, and our passion for those moments that you will remember for years to come. 

Do you offer payment plans?  What payment do you take?

 

Yes!  Customarily, 50% is due upon signing your event contract and the remaining 50% the day of the event.  If the 50/50 payment plan doesn’t work for you we would be happy to arrange an alternative payment method.

 

We are happy to accept personal checks, cashiers checks, money orders and most major credit cards.  Because credit cards must be swiped in person, you may choose to make a deposit/payment via PayPal if you're at a distance (See the PayPal button on our "Packages" page).

Will my photos be online?  What does that mean?

 

Yes, we will provide an online gallery for you (and your family/friends if you wish) to view all of your images.  This is guaranteed to be available within 1 week of the event date, but it's usually just 2-3 days.  From this gallery, you can email, post to Facebook or tweet your faves! 

 

This gallery will be password protected.  Only those to whom you provide the password will be able to access your gallery.  Your photos will be online for a full year, but we can leave it up longer if you need it.  After that, your images will be archived in our vault - just in case you have one of those awful computer meltdowns!

Can I create my own album?

 

Yes, we offer you a free account with BrideBox.com to give you that option.  The "Design It Yourself" album software gives you the tools to design your own wedding album with confidence.

Of course, we also offer Custom Album Design as a professional service, so if you'd prefer for us to do that, we'd be happy to help you out!

Yes, we do!  We maintain a standard 10% discount for all our animal loving friends who work for any of the organizations below.  If you work for a pet organization that's not on this list, give us a call and we'll see what we can do!  Please support these organizations!
